Elections That Matter: The United States and Georgia
Visegrad Insight Podcast - Un pódcast de Res Publica Foundation - Martes
In a crowded electoral season, two elections caught our attention this week: the race to determine the next United States president and heated parliamentary elections in Georgia. While mail-in ballots are still being counted across the Atlantic, we discuss recent analyses on Visegrad Insight on the Trump administration, its impact on Central Europe and what to expect from the next administration. To understand events in the South Caucasus, we asked Stefan Meister, Head of the Heinrich Böll Foundation Tbilisi Office, to provide a critical perspective on the Georgian election results and the wider Eastern Partnership (EaP) context. This episode is part of the Eastern European Futures (EaP2030) project supported by the German Marshall Fund of the U.S. - Black Sea Trust: www.visegradinsight.eu/EaP2030/ Find Wojciech Przybylski’s analysis on Central Europe and the next US president here: https://visegradinsight.eu/central-europe-already-embraces-the-next-us-president/ #Georgia #EaP2030 #Elections2020
