I played at the first Portobello Festival alongside the Godfathers of Jungle Drum and Bass DJs Fabio and Grooverider. What takes it beyond a dream though is that the day was dedicated to the survivors and families of Grenfell. It was a beautiful celebration for the community and spirit of West London and I am so grateful that our set helped to unite and uplift everyone. Jungle does that right? The next day I wrote 3 Roars as I was so inspired by what had happened. This was the Monday before we played Croatia on the Wednesday. I felt our team was united like the crowd. Their roar after the minutes silence we held for Grenfell is like nothing I have heard. Combining these together I wanted to inspire the England team to achieve their dreams, having just achieved one of mine. When I first put it on Soundcloud lots of you liked it as did some of my heroes so I wanted you all to have it to enjoy over the holidays.
